The National Centre for Research and Development organised an event in Brussels to celebrate its 15th Anniversary. The event was opened by speeches from NCBR Director Paweł Kuch, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the EU Arkadiusz Pluciński, Director of BSP Office in Brussels Katarzyna Lachowicz, and the European Commission was represented by Bernd Biervert from the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation.

The meeting brought together representatives of the Polish research and innovation community, EU institutions and representatives of research institutes from EU Member States and associated countries.

The event is another undertaking of the NCRD Office in Brussels, which organisation is supported by the Molecule Group. The events that we organise for NCBR are aimed at promoting Poland’s potential in the area of innovation, and at the same time, are always an excellent opportunity for participants to establish new contacts with representatives of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation and EU executive agencies, such as the European Innovation and SME Executive Agency (EISMEA) and the European Research Executive Agency (REA).

At the special invitation of the NCBR office in Brussels, representatives of Polish companies, NCBR beneficiaries, were also present at the event to present their activities and potential in front of international audience. The exhibition included stands from such companies as Swapp, mTap Smart City, Sygnis S.A., the Barczewo Energy Institute, DMD Modular, Euros Energy and APA Group.
