Roblox is an online platform and store where users can play and create games and other virtual spaces. The distinguishing feature of Roblox is that all games are created by its users. Therefore, the user has simply unlimited possibilities to create his own virtual world. Currently, the official website boasts that its users have published over 20 million games on the platform.

Roblox is mainly for playing and developing games, so it has a wide range of players and developers. Roblox is a free platform and the login process is easier than ever. Just enter your date of birth, username and password. And that's all! However, the possibilities of the platform do not end with playing games. Users can also be entertained by participating in virtual events. And that's what we would like to focus on the most. To make use of this feature, we have created a virtual gallery in Roblox. The gallery is dedicated to a project that we partner with, the Podcast Roku (Podcast of the Year) competition in Poland.

What is Podcast Roku?

Podcast Roku dedicated to the memory of Janusz Majka is a prestigious competition of the best quality podcasts on social, international, travel, automotive, sports, health and religious topics. Janusz Majka, a journalist and radio enthusiast, dealt with these topics for 40 years of work at Polish Radio in Rzeszów. The competition is a form of commemoration of the radio man Majka, who died in February 2021 due to COVID-19. The competition has an open formula, and participation in it is not limited by age.

The virtual gallery of Podcast Roku presents the best Polish podcasts - the last-year award-winners. Amongst them, in the Politics, Economy and Society category, in the 3D gallery, there is a podcast by Folwark by Michał Janczura. In the category of Science, Education and Technology you can find the following podcast: LAMU -  Letnia Akademia Młodych Umysłów. Radio Naukowe by Karolina Głowacka. And last but not least, the winner of the Lifestyle, Culture and Hobbies category is Alfabet Wojtusika by Łukasz Wojtusik.

The creators of Podcast Roku state on such values as digital progression, innovative solutions and content-quality. One of the goals is also to promote this competition among youth. The idea of putting this competition on Roblox perfectly represents their prominent vision.

What does the virtual gallery in Roblox include?

We encourage you to come and visit Podcast Roku in Roblox "in person". Inside the gallery, you will find a corridor filled with the above-mentioned podcasts which you can listen to right away. The gallery also consists of a dedicated theme-designed interview room, a special room dedicated to the commemoration of Janusz Majka with his biography and also a chit-chat room designed as a lounge space to chill out and have a conversation with other participants.
